AfroSouth Film Festival - Vendor Disclaimer and Release of Liability Vendor Disclaimer By participating as a vendor at the AfroSouth Film Festival (“Event”), you, the vendor (“Vendor”), agree to the following terms and conditions: Vendor Responsibilities: The Vendor agrees to operate in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal laws, as well as all Event policies and guidelines provided by the AfroSouth Film Festival organizers. The Vendor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their assigned area and for the setup, operation, and removal of their equipment, goods, and other items. Permits and Licensing: The Vendor is solely responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, licenses, and insurance required to operate at the Event. Sales and Transactions: The Vendor is responsible for all transactions, sales tax, and associated fees. The AfroSouth Film Festival is not liable for any business transactions between the Vendor and attendees. Release of Liability In consideration for being allowed to participate in the AfroSouth Film Festival, the Vendor agrees to the following release of liability: Assumption of Risk: The Vendor understands and acknowledges that participation in the Event involves risks, including but not limited to injury, damage, loss, theft, or destruction of property. The Vendor voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participating in the Event. Release and Waiver: The Vendor releases, waives, and discharges the AfroSouth Film Festival, its organizers, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and staff (collectively, “Event Organizers”) from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to their participation in the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, theft, or loss. Indemnification: The Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Event Organizers from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from the Vendor’s participation in the Event, including any act, omission, or negligence by the Vendor, its agents, or employees. Insurance: The Vendor acknowledges that they are responsible for providing their own insurance coverage for any potential risks or liabilities arising from their participation in the Event. By registering below, the Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Vendor Disclaimer and Release of Liability.
